OTHON is super-excited to record one of the two songs Crowley ever wrote. Even more so, because he will do it with one of his favorite artists of all times. Marc Almond and OTHON have been working already in a couple of tracks for OTHON’ s debut album Digital Angel.

Othon Mataragas writes for Dominic Johnson


Othon Mataragas has been commissioned by Dominic Johnson to write music for Athey’s - Johnson’s collaborative new work, the Self-Obliteration Double Bill. It will be unveiled in Krems (Austria) as part of the Donau Festival in April.

Peter Christopherson’s Threshold House Boys Choir - Turin


David Tibet, Ernesto Tomasini, Ivan Pavlov and Othon will play a live soundtrack on Derek Jarman’s film The Angelic Conversation. The performance will be directed by Peter Christopherson (aka Sleazy), co-founder of Coil, Throbbing Gristle and Psychic TV. Coil’s song The Dreamer Is Still Asleep will be performed by Christopherson, Tibet and Mataragas.

Otto or Up With The Dead People,  a film by Bruce LaBruce


The controversial director Bruce LaBruce has selected two works by Othon Mataragas to be featured in his new film Otto or Up With The  Dead People. The film was premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2008 and will be screened in other major festivals including the Berlinale Berlin Film Festival, Istanbul Independent Film Festival and others. Donau Festival - Current 93
